Teleflora Text Message Class Action Settlement
What Is the Teleflora Text Message Settlement About?
The lawsuit alleges that Teleflora’s marketing texts violated the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the Virginia Telephone Privacy Protection Act. It concerns people who had not supplied their numbers to Teleflora but received repeated promotional messages while registered on the National Do Not Call Registry.
One issue in the case is whether permission obtained from a previous subscriber to a telephone number permitted later texts to the number’s new user. Teleflora contests liability. The proposed settlement resolves the dispute without a trial deciding the merits.
How Much Is the Teleflora Settlement Payout?
The maximum is $251 for each approved telephone-number claim before deductions. Each claimant’s portion of administration expenses and the court-approved fee award reduces that amount, so $251 is not a guaranteed check.
The $6 million settlement sum pays approved claims and settlement expenses. In the October 16, 2026 final-approval motion, class counsel requested $2 million in attorneys’ fees and $12,915.84 in litigation expenses. The court decides what to approve.
Only one claim per class member per qualifying number can be approved. Payments will be mailed by check after final approval, effectiveness and resolution of any appeals. No fixed payment date has been announced.
Am I Eligible to File a Claim?
You must satisfy the settlement’s conditions:
- You were the regular user or subscriber of a qualifying U.S. telephone number.
- You did not give that number to Teleflora.
- Teleflora sent or caused at least two messages promoting its goods or services to the number within a 12-month period during the covered dates.
- The number had been on the National Do Not Call Registry for at least 30 days before at least two of those messages.
The class period ends on August 26, 2026, the date of preliminary approval. Registration on the Do Not Call Registry alone is insufficient; the text-message and consent requirements also apply.
Is the Teleflora Settlement Legit?
Yes. The Circuit Court for Miami-Dade County authorized the settlement notice and appointed Angeion Group LLC as administrator. Judge Mavel Ruiz oversees Carter v. Teleflora LLC.
TFSettlement.com is the official website and contains the agreement, court order, notice and claim form. The final approval hearing is scheduled remotely for November 25, 2026, at 9 a.m. Eastern Time. The website will post scheduling changes.
When’s the Claim Deadline?
Submit online by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on November 17, 2026, or mail a claim postmarked by that date. Use the claim-form mailing address in the administrator details above.
Exclusion requests and objections also have a November 17 deadline, but use different procedures and, for exclusions, a different mailing address. Follow the full notice for those actions. Doing nothing produces no payment, even if you received a settlement postcard.
Who Qualifies for the Teleflora Settlement?
Potential class members were identified using communication records obtained for the case. The settlement concerns an estimated 23,844 telephone numbers rather than every Teleflora customer or every person who received a flower-delivery notification.
You may qualify even without a postcard if your number is in the relevant records. Call 833-662-3434 with your name and the number that received the texts so the administrator can check. A valid, unique Claimant ID is required; contact the administrator if yours is missing.
How Do I File a Teleflora Settlement Claim Form?
Choose Submit a Claim on TFSettlement.com or download the paper form. Enter your Claimant ID, name, current mailing address and required telephone information. An email address is optional on the paper form.
Identify each number for which you were the regular user or subscriber and certify the qualifying texts and Do Not Call registration. Sign and date the form. The administrator may audit or verify the information against case records; the form does not require a retail purchase receipt.
Submit electronically or mail the signed form to the administrator, marked ATTN: CLAIM FORMS. Keep your confirmation or a copy of the mailed form. Use an accurate mailing address because approved benefits are paid by check, and respond promptly to any request to complete missing claim information.
