Levoit Air Purifier Class Action Settlement

What Is the Levoit Air Purifier Settlement About?

The lawsuit challenges whether the HEPA-related marketing for the covered purifiers and filters accurately described their filtration capabilities. It resolves related litigation brought by several purchasers against VeSync.

The court has not ruled that the advertising was unlawful. VeSync disputes the claims, and the parties agreed to resolve the litigation through a settlement subject to final court approval.

How Much Is the Levoit Settlement Payout?

Each eligible person with an approved claim can receive one $10 digital payment. Buying multiple qualifying products does not increase that individual award.

The $15 million limit applies to consumer awards. If valid awards exceed that amount, payments will decrease proportionally. VeSync pays settlement administration separately, along with any court-approved attorneys’ fees, litigation costs and representative service awards. The requested fees and costs are capped at $5,244,500, and the requested service awards total no more than $11,500.

Payment is conditional on the settlement becoming effective. The agreement provides for distribution within 60 days after effectiveness or 30 days after all claims are processed and resolved, whichever is later. Appeals can delay that schedule.

Am I Eligible to File a Claim?

Check all of the following before starting the claim:

  • You purchased a Levoit Core or EverestAir air purifier, or a replacement filter for a covered product, in the United States.
  • The product carried ‘True HEPA,’ ‘HEPA’ or ‘H13’ language.
  • The purchase occurred between August 29, 2019, and August 4, 2023.
  • You did not purchase directly through VeSync’s website or mobile application.
  • You can supply purchase evidence showing the original purchase date and have not validly opted out.

A notice email or Claim ID does not replace the purchase documentation required by the live claim form. Check your retailer’s order history or confirmation emails for a readable record of the transaction.

Is the Levoit Settlement Legit?

Yes. Judge Katherine Levine of New York’s Supreme Court in Kings County oversees Sen et al. v. Vesync (US) Corp. The court preliminarily approved the settlement and appointed Apex Class Action LLC to administer it.

The official website is LAPSettlement.com. It provides the claim form, court documents and administrator contact details. The final approval hearing is scheduled for February 17, 2027, at 11 a.m. Eastern Time.

When’s the Claim Deadline?

Complete the online claim by November 3, 2026. The official claim process is electronic; the administrator’s mailing address is not a paper-claim alternative.

November 3 is also the deadline for exclusion requests and objections, which have their own written submission requirements in the notice. Filing a claim does not require attending the February hearing.

Who Qualifies for the Levoit Settlement?

Eligibility is nationwide, but it depends on the product, labeling, purchase date and sales channel. Owning a Levoit product outside the covered Core or EverestAir lines does not by itself qualify you.

The court’s class definition also excludes government entities, the parties’ counsel and their firms, VeSync and specified related entities and personnel, the relevant judges and mediators and their immediate families and staff, and anyone who properly requests exclusion. The direct-purchase exclusion applies because those buyers are subject to an arbitration agreement and class-action waiver.

How Do I File a Levoit Settlement Claim Form?

Select Submit a Claim on LAPSettlement.com. Enter the Claim ID and PIN from your notice, or use the link for people without those credentials.

Provide your name, mailing address and email; upload purchase evidence with the original date; select a digital payment method; and sign the claim electronically. Review the information before submitting and keep a copy of your confirmation.

Use contact information you will continue to monitor. Apex may request more information if a claim is incomplete or requires verification. Direct questions about eligibility, missing credentials or documents to Apex at 800-837-2979 or LAPSettlement@apexclassaction.com.
